This is the live community calendar for families considering a move into the Kearsley Community Schools district and the nearby Davison Community Schools district. Each entry below is verified against the organizing district, market, library, or team, and lists the event name, date and time, venue, and organizer. This week: Kearsley hosts Carman-Ainsworth for a JV football game Thursday, October 22, and its annual Harvest Festival takes over the high school front loop Tuesday, October 27. Davison closes the regular season at Lapeer Friday, October 23 at 7 PM, and city-wide trick-or-treating runs Halloween night, October 31 from 6 to 8 PM. Halloween Ghosts & Goodies continues at Crossroads Village through October 30, and the Flint Firebirds host the Soo Greyhounds October 25 and Barrie October 31. Davison Farmers Market adds craft shows on October 24 and 31 and the Deer Widows Craft Show & Fall Market on November 14. November brings the Firebirds’ Pucks Four Paws and Military Appreciation nights (November 6 and 7), the Gloria Coles Flint Public Library’s 175 Gala (November 7), Sloan Museum’s Youth Book Club (November 21), the Flint Handmade Holiday Craft Market (November 28), and Christmas at Crossroads opening November 27.
